Appstem Joins Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS)

Mobile app development company Appstem is proud to announce that we’re new members of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). HIMSS is a global, cause-based, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT). HIMSS leads efforts to optimize health engagements and care outcomes using information technology.

What better time and place to announce our membership then the annual HIMSS conference. Over the last 7 years we’ve partnered with leading Healthcare organizations for their mobile application, web, and Internet of Things (IoT) initiatives. We have had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names in healthcare including Kaiser Permanente, Cerner, Johnson & Johnson, Cambia Health and Genentech to name a few.

We look forward to our new involvement with HIMSS as we continue to focus on the heath and wellness industry. We’ve been involved with several HIMSS events in the past and we’re eager to get more involved this year. The technology landscape within the healthcare industry is rapidly changing with new technology like mobile apps, wearables, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR), we look forward to helping organizations adopt this technology to help improve patient care.

As members of the HIMSS Northern California Chapter we look forward to getting involved in events and committees in a effort to help and share our deep knowledge specific to the mobile, web, and IoT space to improve healthcare.
