Appstem Turns 8
Crazy how fast the time goes, can’t believe it’s been 8 years. Last year in our anniversary post where we shared how Appstem got started and discussed the early days and clients, you can read that post here.
Looking back over the last year, we accomplished a ton – the team has grown, the largest it has ever been. We moved into a new, larger office in the Financial District. We built our first product, the Appstem CMS (Content Management System) to power the mobile apps and websites we create for our clients. And as always we launched a bunch of cool new products for our clients and added some exciting new clients to our roster.
As the ever-changing technology landscape evolves we’ve been evolving as well. With the emergence of new technologies like augmented reality, virtual reality, drones, and voice activated devices – we’ve been helping our clients evaluate these technologies, strategies and execution.
Aside from these new technologies, last year was a good mix of IoT projects, web platforms and mobile apps. Last year we continued to work with large enterprises and early stage startups. Some highlights include launching the new JetSuiteX website, a Telemedicine platform for UC Davis Department of Behavioral Health, and an iOS app for Actelion – a division of Johnson & Johnson.
As we look forward this year we are excited about new trends and look forward to working with our clients with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and chatbots to name a few.
As always I would like to personally thank all of our clients, partners and employees for without you, none of this is possible. We have a lot of exciting things we’re working on and can’t wait to share them with you.
