Setting Up Your iPhone Developer Program
Below is an outline of the steps it will take to get your account setup so that you can publish and sell applications within the Apple App Store.
- To enroll go to the iPhone Developer Program and enroll
- When choosing a password for your Developer ID, choose something unique that you don’t mind sharing with us as we will have to log in using these credentials to setup your application.
- Apple will walk you through most of the steps, you will be given the choice of Individual or Company (choose Individual unless you have good reason and want to pay the additional $400 to enroll in the Company program)
- Once you have received a confirmation email from Apple that you have been enrolled, you can continue.
- You will need to setup your iTunes account next, go to iTunes Connect
- In the “Contracts, Tax, and Banking Information“ Section agree to all the contracts and click “View/Edit” under all the incomplete sections to fill out your information. If you are planning to sell your app for free this step is optional. After it’s all complete you should see green checkmarks like this next to each section
